Zack’s storytelling roots run deep in his ability to find meaning in the moments others might overlook. From the quiet conversations in a small-town diner to the eerie stillness of abandoned spaces, he’s always been drawn to the subtle details that hint at bigger stories. This innate curiosity has shaped him into an award-winning director and editor, with over a decade of experience bringing bold, visually striking narratives to life.

A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Zack’s work spans across thrilling narratives, stylish music videos, and branded content, winning audience awards at festivals like Palm Springs ShortFest, San Diego Comic-Con, Chelsea Film Festival, FilmQuest, and Phoenix Film Festival. His projects, including the psychological thriller "A Cotton Moon" (2023) starring Eric Roberts and the '60s musical drama short "Dion & Denver" (2024), showcase his passion for genre storytelling, blending psychological depth with emotional resonance.

As an editor, Zack has collaborated with top brands like Nike, AT&T, Google, and Universal Pictures, mastering the art of blending commercial precision with cinematic flair. His work with Mattel on a high-octane Hot Wheels sizzle reel, in particular, stands out as a project that skillfully merged nostalgia with adrenaline in just 90 seconds.

In addition to directing and editing, Zack’s screenwriting talents have earned him spots on the Coverfly Red List and finalist positions in competitions like ScreenCraft and WeScreenplay. Now, as the founder of Chaos Theory Entertainment, he continues to push creative boundaries, developing feature films that challenge expectations and leave a lasting impact on audiences.
